Boston University

Research Assistant

I had the privilege of working under Dr. Nitin Joglekar researching about building data science products. This resulted in publishing a case study on developing data products and data product managers. We started off the research by trying to define the term “Data Product Management” but through the course of speaking with several Product Managers across Spotify, Facebook, Slack, Tesla, Google, Amazon, Wayfair, Hubspot and several Y Combinator(Airbnb, Stripe, Gusto) startup founders and early team members, it was decided that it was in the best interest of an organisation to define the role and scope of a Data Product Manager and there can be no single universal definition. We then pivoted to publish how data product teams at different orgs need to be built to achieve their respective goals(b2b, b2c or b2b2c)

This case was taught to the MBA class in Product Management at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business.

Work in Progress: Article on the case at a major institute’s review

Insight Data Science

While doing my research on Data Product Management, I stumbled upon the Fellowship at Insight and was selected to be part of the Cohort.

I worked with exceptionally talented AI Fellows to ship an abstractive text summarizer platform for knowledge workers.

I strongly feel Insight is a wonderful place to collaborate, meet interesting people and possibly come up with your next venture.
